Videographer Internship Opportunity

Are you a passionate underwater videographer and would you like to use your skills to help us to encourage and empower Indonesian women to have a career in conservation? Would you like to work alongside our Coral Catch Superwomen, and help them install a new coral art project in The Gilis? Do you have your own camera and do you have experience in photo editing and videography? Then we would love you to join our research team!

What Are We Looking For?

We are looking for a videographer intern who will work closely with our Coral Catch Superwomen to showcase their work and create unique behind-the-scenes footage (all footage should be recorded in “4K 60”). During your internship, our Superwomen will be working on a very special project: building a new coral reef by recreating the artwork ‘Purple Plasma’ of Will Solomon underwater. You will be shooting all the (raw) footage of this project, and the creative team of Will Solomon will do all the editing work.

Furthermore, we would love you to help us on our mission to empower and encourage Indonesian women to have a career in marine conservation by sharing pictures, videos and stories on our social media channels.

Skills & Requirements

💙 You are a certified diver

💙 You are available from the 16th of October – 17th of December 2022 (9 weeks)

💙 You have your own camera + housing

💙 You have your own equipment

💙 You have experience with crafting video content and promotional stories

💙 You are a creative person with a big passion for conservation and sharing stories

💙 You are able to work in a fast-paced environment and willing to be flexible

💙 You are able to work as part of a team
